Planar Back Adjustments

Adjust seat back hei ght by removi ng/addi ng secti ons.

1. BASIC INSTALLATION: Leavi ng the fabri c back i n place, attach the planar back to

the chai r frame usi ng the Velcro straps, as shown. Fig. A

2. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS: Adjust seat back hei ght by removi ng/addi ng secti ons.

3. To remove a secti on: Usi ng the Allen wrench, remove the bottom set of screws on the

lower mounting plate on the back of the uni t. Fig. C

4. Separate the upper secti on from the base. Fig. D

5. Remove bottom set of screws from upper mounti ng plate. Fig. E

6. Remove mi ddle section and set i t asi de. Fig. F

7. Attach upper secti on to base secti on by re-i nserti ng the screws as shown. Fig. G

8. To add a section: Perform removal (step 3) procedures i n reverse.

9. Adjust the headrest hei ght by sli ghtly looseni ng the knobs on the back and rai si ng

or loweri ng the headrest. It can also be pi votedv by changi ng the hori zontal
